Punctuality and Honesty.
Punctuality is the soul of business. It is the habit of doing things at the proper time, and it will make a man successful in life.
In business and trade practices, it is essential to keep to time. Our word should be our bond. That means arranging all activities with time in view. Not being punctual is dishonesty, especially when it becomes a practice. Furthermore, it implies that we take our customers for granted. Therefore, in order to build a reputation of uprightness over time, it is extremely important that we speak the truth in our businesses. And that includes keeping to time.
If we want to make quick money, we may get dishonest and pay little or no attention to punctuality. In the end, we will come crashing. When we reject appointments based on initial appointment so as to maintain punctuality, we may lose some businesses initially, but would build a reputation that will be useful in due course.
Once the reputation of honesty and punctuality are built, our tomorrow is assured.
